About us…

Situated in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, in the beautiful village of Lairg, right in the centre of the Northern Highlands, between the West coast and East coast route of the NC500, so we are a great break from the busy A9 road, with the bonus of amazing scenary.

We are a small family run independent business set up in 1995, not a ltd. company or owned by share holders! Just a husband and wife team who love what we do.

Our atmospheric high street store has become very much a destination store, with customers coming from all over the world, we have even appeared in a few documentaries and TV shows in the UK and beyond. We love chatting with all the varied and interesting people that come and visit us.

We specialise in the hand tailoring of garments in Scottish tweeds as well as British tweeds - we offer the highest quality made to measure tailoring service at a very affordable price.

Our stock levels within our high street store are always expanding. This has resulted in the retail side of the business becoming as strong as our tailoring service. You will find tweed clothing of all kinds, as well as an incredible selection of hats, waterproofs, shirts, capes, bags, gloves, socks, ties, scarves, gifts, the list goes on… we are sure you will find that quality item you are looking for.

Along with our high street store we have been developing our online store. This is constantly being developed as we try to offer a great selection of high quality items that can be posted worldwide.
